Electrican Planning

  • Keep us away from flooring trades and other trades at the frame.

Electrican Construction

  • Lable and bundle cables by device type such as Ethernet for cameras, computers & VoIP phones, alarm cables & speaker cables.
  • The cables are run per the pictures at www.cableterm.com and then pass your cable rough in.
  • On plans or using blue painters tape, locate ceiling access point cabling.
  • 4′ wide x 8′ tall plywood backboard installed with a quad electrical box up high in corner. Use a dedicated 20A breaker.
  • Drywall cable penetrations
    • on wall – cable(s) run through a single gang mud ring or an old work box.
    • on ceiling drywall – for a speaker or wifi access point.  Cables run through a small hole the size of a quarter.

Cost

  • Parts are same as Home Depot bulk price
  • We charge $100 every time we need to visit the site.
  • Our quoted labor rate is based on $125/hr.
  • You get a $100 credit if we can order the Comcast or Verizon Internet utilities.

Equipment Used

  • We always use ICC CAT6EZ  jacks and 24port CAT6 patch panels.
  • We use quality short 12″ to 24″ Ethernet patch cables.
  • Quality CAT6 or CAT6A cable if making some (missed) runs for you.

Cable Testing

  • We provide a 4 pair continuity test only unless a 1GB or 10GB certification is itemized on your quote.
  • You are running the cable. Faults or signal impairments are likley due to cabling.

  • Department of Criminal and Justice Services for electronic security DCJS #11-5961.
  • Master Electrician. # 2710079029 on staff to assist you to install cubicle wire whips and such. We do not seek electrical work.
